The Terps are back! And with a record of 2-0, have more wins than any other team in the NCAA!

This 2006-2007 team looks nothing like the teams from the past two years. Two freshmen point guards who (1) actually know how to play the position and (2) listen to Gary Williams have shown flashes of brilliance. When was the last time Maryland had a point guard who had 0 points and 8 assists in one game? Not that the PGs can't score, but they already know that their job is to get the ball into someone's hands to take a high percentage shot.

Additionally, the flow of the Terps offense has changed. Players like Mike Jones and Ekene Ibekwe are passing up shots they would have taken last year to make the extra pass. Granted, the two Terps victories were not against ACC foes and the freshmen PGs are not anywhere near perfect, but the team's play has been very encouraging.

And of course, they have BOOM! Osby.
