Know your Wiz

Hey Guys,

This is a clip that always makes me happy. Every time, without fail. It's a clip of Donell Taylor and his brother Ronell, performing the greatest basketball play I've ever seen.

#1 OSU 24, #2 Texas 7

Yes, the Bucks prevailed a little easier than most people thought while in Austin on Saturday night. My impressions from the game:

The OSU defense is still somewhat shaky. But thanks to a couple timely turnovers, it will go unnoticed for another week. UT's tailbacks were slicing and dicing like a serial killer on the loose.

Colt McCoy won't be the real thing for another year at least. But when he comes into his own, watch out. We may have another Jason White on our hands! (please read that with sarcasm)

The Troy Smith - Ted Ginn pass at the end of the 1st half was beautiful. I've never seen a game-breaking play look so dang effortless.

Jim Tressel is the best coach in college football. Other people will talk about the genius of Charlie "Where's the Buffet Line" Weis or the potential of Urban Meyer's new offense. But that's all hype. Show me some wins. Show me a National Title. Show me a team who beats their archrivals consistently (4-1 vs. Michigan), wins Bowl games on New Year's Day (4-1), and can win the big game (Texas, Miami, Notre Dame, etc.). I'll take Mr. Sweatervest any day.

Troy Smith for Heisman.
