Wizards Need Simmons!
OK, I Know I've posted 2 days in a row, and you are all probably sick of me posting, but I need to weigh in on what the Wizards will do tonight in the NBA Draft. I want to introduce you all to Cedric Simmons. Cedric is a 6'10 Power Forward from NC State. The Wizards, and I are praying that Simmons somehow falls to the Wizards at 18. It is possible, but not likely. Simmons is supposed to go in the late lottery, maybe to someone like Seattle.
Why is Cedric is a perfect fit in Washington?
I'm glad you asked. First of all, Cedric is a defensive oriented PF with good size, who is quick and mobile, and gets a lot of blocks. The Wizards definitely need help down low, and on defense. The Cavs series showed how porous the Washington defense can be, so I think it is important the the Wizards address this need. Also, Simmons has already spent a year in college running the Princeton Offense that Herb Sendek used at State, which is the same offense that Eddie Jordan uses. It seems like he is a perfect fit for us, and we'd be a perfect fit for him. The Wizards may need to trade up to get him though.
Alexander Johnson out of Florida State would also be a good option, just not as good.
Also, Did you guys see this article from the Washington Post stating that our star player, Gilbert Arenas, would be willing to take less pay if it help the front office sign more help for the Wiz, so they can win a championship? AAAHHH!!! I LOVE GILBERT! I hope they give him what he's due as their star player, but I also hope that they listen up and put the peices together for a championship contender. I'm getting so antsy right now....get him the help! Keep him happy!
This is totally how I felt during the Tejada debacle last winter.
And Yo! Gilbert got that arrest warrant retracted! He ain't never got that court summons in the mail! Miami court system, You better check yourself before you wreck yourself! I know you guys know that Gilbert is better than Dwayne Wade! But that is no excuse for you actions. That's bush league! Let this battle be decided on the court.

The Wizareds should have drafted Nik Caner-Medley. Wait a minute, not that shouldn't have.
Nik Caner Medly is on the Pistons Summer League team....They are thin at the small forwrad position, and if they don't sign anyone, he has a good shot at making the team.
