C'mon Jim. I was thinking about this the other day and I thought, this may be the only way to hang more banners at the Comcast Center. You know the guys team probably won't hang up their "I lost in the first round of the NIT at home to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir" banner.
I actually watched the lady Terps game. It was the first full women's basketball game I've ever watched. I've never seen a shot attempt go through the bottom of the basket, as if one were playing horse, until last night. Go Terps!
This begs the question, If the National Champion Maryland Girl's basketball team played the one and done in the NIT Maryland Men's Basketball team, what would happen?
As bad as the men's terp team was, I think the Men would edge this one out. I think the men would beat the women, 116-5.
That Maryland UNC game had all of the excitement that was missing from the men's final four. I've never watched women's hoops before and probably never will again but that game was very, very exciting.
